Created In the Image of God
We believe that man was originally created in the image of God and that he fell through proud sin, and as a consequence, lost his spiritual life, becoming “dead in sin”, and subject to the power and temptation of the devil. I also believe that spiritual death and the depravity of human nature has been transmitted to the entire human race, the incarnate Jesus Christ being the only exception, and that every person is born into the world with a nature which not only possesses no holiness, but is corrupt and unrighteousness apart from God’s grace.
