The Doctrine of The Holy Spirit

Indwelling All Who Are Saved – Sealing Them As God’s Possession

We believe that the Holy Spirit, though omnipresent from all eternity, took up residence on earth on the day of Pentecost and that His active presence will cease when Christ comes to receive His own at the end of the Church. We believe that He indwells every believer from salvation and unites all believers to Christ in one Body. We believe that He never removes Himself from the believer’s life, but is present to testify of Christ; and that He is the source of all power, truth, worship and service.

John 14:16-17  |  Romans 8:2, 9, 15-17  |  1 Corinthians 6:19  |  I Corinthians 12:12-13  |  Ephesians 2:22

We believe that the Holy Spirit acts to restrain evil in the world, to convict all people of sin, righteousness and judgment, to regenerate all believers, and to indwell all who are saved to seal them as God’s possession until the day of redemption. He also fills believers who are yielded to His control and subject to His will with power, discernment, and strength for teaching and service.
