Our mind is a place of great conflict, battling between holy and unholy thoughts. This determines how feel and function, especially spiritually. In Romans 12, Paul calls us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, which only takes place when we passionately and purposely develop and nurture what brings spiritual life. We have to understand what the voices in our mind are leading us to believe and do, and capture the ones that are enticing us to rebel against God. The Lord is far more powerful than any problems we have, so when we are intentional about abiding in spiritual renewal, He gives us victory.
