Forget The Stew

Esau and Jacob came from a mess of a family situation–with favoritism, deception and resentment. Esau understandably developed a hateful grudge against Jacob after he stole Esau’s birthright and blessing. So when they finally saw each other 14 years later, Jacob was terrified his brother would kill him. But Esau’s mercy is a huge example of rejecting the pain and bitterness and affect on relationships to experience health and restoration.
